I am a best-selling author, international speaker and senior faculty member with the Art of Living Foundation and the International Association for Human Values. For over 25 years, I’ve had the honor of teaching tens of thousands of people proven techniques and tools that lead to dynamic personal and organizational transformation, and now it’s your turn.

I believe everyone deserves the opportunity live life to their greatest human potential. My lifework is dedicated to the upliftment of humanity by sharing spiritual wisdom in a relatable, inspiring and practical manner.

Moving in integrity, leading with kindness and compassion and navigating this world with a light-heart, are among my core values. I don’t just believe it’s possible to be successful, fulfilled and authentically happy; I know it to be true.

You can read about my lifework and the story of my spiritual transformation, in my best-selling book, Becoming Unshakeable: Wisdom Learned on the Journey to Inner Freedom.

My story is your story.

It’s a story of hard work, success and lots of challenges, with a yearning to know who I am, why I’m here, and how to realize lasting peace and freedom.

We’re often led to believe that you can have the career you’ve worked your whole life for, but it’s probably going to come at a cost. That cost is your relationships, health and well-being, along with other aspects of yourself. This just isn’t true.

Happiness. So often we’re taught that we have to sacrifice something. This just isn’t true.

You can have it all. The career, the family, the health, the passions, the hobbies, the travel, and the inner peace and joy.

You just need to know how.

I started my career in the corporate world, where I had a successful 20-year career as an executive in sales, training and marketing. I fully embraced every job, challenge and opportunity. I relished leading and mentoring teams, being at the forefront of change and even the rush I felt when we hit and exceeded our targets.

I discovered I had a natural talent as a leader and thrived working with start-ups in the new and innovative business of travel technology. Empowering individuals and teams to not only realize their potential, but to develop a new industry in the process, was exciting.

Beyond the big paycheck. I had a yearning for something more.

Still, I yearned for something bigger, something greater than myself. Something beyond the titles, the big salary, the jet-set lifestyle, and the stress and late nights that come with all of it. Eventually stress was showing up in the form of migraine headaches. I was tired, had little to no time to do the things I enjoyed and became more and more disillusioned. I knew there was something more to life, and that I wouldn’t rest until I found “it.”

My life changed when renowned spiritual leader and humanitarian, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, entered my life. I had recently moved from busy Dallas, Texas, to the mountains of Colorado in search of peace and quiet, when I found my spiritual teacher. Or perhaps he found me.

A chance encounter led me to take a breath-based meditation course that he had devised, and after just a few days, my life was changed forever!

A chance encounter. My life changed.

I was still me, I still continued working in corporate, but now I’d meditate during my lunch break and was beginning to discover that elusive “more” that I’d been looking for. Through the techniques I was learning and the knowledge I was applying, a whole new world opened up.

A world where I had more tools to manage my mind and emotions than ever before, more peace and clarity of mind than I thought possible, and more joy and ease in life than I’d ever imagined. I realized I was moving through life with greater ease, clarity of mind, and creativity. The workload and difficult personalities and situations didn’t change, but my perspective and skill certainly had!

I started to become unshakeable.

I was hooked.

I had found what I was looking for, and I couldn’t get enough!

I was unshakeable

For a while, my life was a mixture of corporate success and spiritual exploration. I found that everything I was learning actually made me a better leader, a better person and happier. I was less reactive, I was much calmer, and my relationship with myself—or rather, my Self—had radically transformed.

My life quickly had more meaning, more depth, and more joy. The migraine headaches that I had suffered for years were now a thing of the past. My relationships improved, I was sleeping better, and getting more done in less time, with fewer mistakes.

I was more fulfilled, more dynamic, and happy for no reason. I found myself springing out of bed at 6am, instead of wanting to throw the alarm clock out the window. A year later, when Sri Sri invited me to join him, to teach full-time with the Art of Living Foundation, my answer was obvious – “Yes!”

I had gained so much from his programs, and found such joy and peace in the teachings, that I wanted to share what I’d learned with as many people as possible.
From the boardroom to ashrams in India, from 60+ hour work weeks to the peace of silent retreats, I found myself in a Ph.D. program for spirituality, and there was no turning back.

My skills and experience in the business world naturally translated to being of service in a global humanitarian organization. The bonus was that empowering people with skills and techniques to let go of stress and find their inner happiness, was much more fulfilling than anything I’d ever done.

I discovered that I didn’t have to go to the top of a mountain and renounce all my possessions to experience the inner peace I’d heard so much about. This peace was available to (and is available to you) anytime I closed my eyes and meditated.

I didn’t have to go to the top of a mountain and renounce all my possessions to experience the inner peace I’d heard so much about.

After so many years in the business world, I was surprised by how at home I was in my new role as a spiritual mentor and teacher. Naturally, I was inclined to teach those from more corporate and academic backgrounds, while at the same time, I was thoroughly enjoying training and connecting with people from all walks of life. While I never returned to life as I once knew it, I continue to train in companies, academic and healthcare institutions, and halls of government, worldwide.

I have been teaching with the Art of Living as a senior faculty member and with the International Association for Human Values for over 25 years. As a senior international faculty member, I present a myriad of programs from our introductory workshop to specialty programs tailor-made for specific industries.

Everyone deserves to be the happiest, healthiest, and most successful version of themselves, and it’s a joy to share this wisdom with all.

I’ve taught tens of thousands of people how to transform their own lives through the power of the yogic sciences and published a best-selling book about my own transformation called, Becoming Unshakeable: Wisdom Learned on the Journey to Inner Freedom. I take you on my journey, from boardrooms to ashrams worldwide, with 15 wisdom lessons to light the way for your own journey of self-discovery. Read more
